Google / Stackdriver

I was the Lead Designer for Google Stackdriver. I worked with product managers, engineers, researchers and other designers to improve the workflow for Google's cloud monitoring product.

Google Stackdriver provides powerful monitoring, logging, and diagnostics. It equips you with insight into the health, performance, and availability of cloud-powered applications, enabling you to find and fix issues faster. It is natively integrated with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and popular open source packages. Stackdriver provides a wide variety of metrics, dashboards, alerting, log management, reporting, and tracing capabilities.

I designed and developed the design language for Google Cloud's data visualization library.

The custom metric tool allows devops engineers to customize alerts and dashboard widgets using multiple metrics, aggregations and equations.

Spokata

I designed the user experience and wrote the front-end LESS/ HTML / JS code for production.

Spokata is a new reading service that combines a text-to-speech engine combined with an east-use interface for mobile, IOS and desktop.

Apptopia

I worked with Apptopia to improve their marketing funnel, data visualizations and navigation. I interviewed and wrote research reports, designed page proposals and mapped functional flows to use cases.

Apptopia is a mobile ad metrics product company.

By placing the sign up before delivering data to free users, Apptopia generated more leads and conversations.

Pixability

At Pixability I was the Principal Product Designer. I led the UX and visual design for the entire product. I researched the ad buying experience with Pixability's customers and created a flow that allowed ad buyers to create and purchase advertising across a multitude of platforms using a single interface.

Pixability is a video advertising technology company that helps media professionals deliver outstanding campaign performance across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Pixability’s revolutionary approach unites the most advanced targeting capabilities, dynamic campaign optimization, and rich performance and audience insights to deliver the most effective video advertising campaigns on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

I created patterns and widgets that could be used across the platform. One pattern, "bulk add" allowed for complex criteria to display simply in context to other criteria.

The rules engine had "premixed" combinations that gave ad buyers a top list of typical scenarios to stop, pause or shift money from platform to platform.

Shapemix

I was the Chief Product Officer and co-founder of Shapemix, a music mixing platform for the iPad and iPhone and an online social network for music mixing contests. At its height, Shapemix had about 50,000 unique users mixing and uploading their mixes through our cloud-based system to our Facebook context pages.

Shapemix has been featured in Wired.com, Billboard, Mashable and other publications. A special version of the app has been produced for Spin magazine for a music mixing contest featuring Skrillex, Tiesto and Digitalism.

SMX was a companion looping app that ran on the same platform using the same licensed content.

I designed the ad management campaign and public configurator process for the Mercedes A-Class line. The project required that certain assets be delivered at different parts of the campaign.
